unable to load a testcase in the tool

Hi Ajryan,

Recently i have download the test steps editor tool to create multi line text in a test action/step.

No response from the system once i provide the work item id(22) and click 'Load'. (currently connected to a same project in Sandbox)

Some of the values set in regedit are,

Default -> Value not set

FindToolbarTop, WorkItemToolbar Top --> False

Please inform if any setup changes required at my end.

Hi kv,

Sorry you are having problems opening a test case. Can you please verify that the same test case can be edited in Microsoft Test Manager?  Two other possible workarounds:

  1. Try existing the test steps editor and then deleting the entire TestStepsEditor registry key.
  2. Try connecting to your Sandbox project and then exiting and re-starting test steps editor before attempting to open the test case
